FOR FACEBOOK MEMBERS
You can post photos & descriptive details of your lost pet or the pet you found right now on our Facebook page.This information will be shared throughout our network and seen immediately by all of our contacts.
FOR THOSE WHO DON'T USE FACEBOOK:
We ask that you email us your photos directly along with as many details that you can provide. The pet will then be added either to our Lost Pet Photo Gallery or our Found Pet Photo Gallery on our website.
All of the information will be shared throughout the LAFPOLI network. Our contacts will have the opportunity to check our website and Facebook page to stay up-to-date on any new news regarding animals in their area. With pet lovers in neighborhoods all over Long Island, we hope to reduce the amount of time that a frightened pet and owner are apart. When a pet is missing, time is of the essence--the sooner the word gets out, the better the chances are of reuniting lost pets and their families.
We hope that you are just as excited as we are about “Lost & Found Pets of Long Island (LAFPOLI).” We sincerely hope to play an active role in helping the animals in our community. If we help reunite one animal with their rightful owner, it will be well worth our time and effort. We believe that if we all play our parts, together we can make a difference in the life of an animal. We are sure that you agree.
